Growing up, every child longs to Go Pro®. Whether it’s the aspiration to move in the career path of their ideal role model, or the yearning to be like their favorite athlete or entertainer, every child has a deeply embedded longing to be someone significant in life. Yet, due to lack of formal education, many of their dreams are shattered. Statistics show that a growing number of high school students are dropping out before completion, especially in the Latino and African American communities.

The Go Pro® movement, founded by All-Pro NFL Cornerback Nate Clements, is dedicated to empowering young people everywhere to Go Pro® in life through education, exposure, and athletics. The power to be a pro comes from a solid education, sound choices, and giving your best everyday. The Go Pro® program was developed to stir up excitement among young people and to enhance their potential career options in their fields of passion — sports and beyond. As one of the top professional athletes in the NFL, Nate will use his sphere of influence among other professional athletes, entertainers, and business professionals, to rally together in support of this cause — exposing youth to opportunities and experiences that will help them Go Pro®. This exposure begins with the foundation of an education.

The vision of Go Pro® is to create a global movement that empowers and encourages youth — through education, exposure, and athletics — to help them visualize achieving their potential career goals in life, sports, and beyond. The Go Pro® initiative will extend to vocational programs, as well as the public and private sectors of education. Nate will utilize his network of professionals to provide the resources he needs to empower and encourage students, while promoting education through the Go Pro® program.

The goal of Go Pro® is to peak the curiosity and the commitment of the next generation of all-pro youth leaders through the foundation of education. Go Pro® is an I Can Do Anything mentality, developed at an early age, to inspire the future generation of PRO®fessional leaders.
